Southall Vaisakhi procession - Nagar Kirtan 2019

Celebrate Vaisakhi, the birth of the Khalsa and the harvest festival.
This year holds a particular significance, being concurrent with the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikh religion.
Changes to the procession times and routes
This year the procession will start at 10am instead of the usual 11.45am.
The starting location , route and final destination has also changed.
Join or watch the annual Southall Vaisakhi procession (nagar kirtan) from the Park Avenue Gurdwara to Norwood Hall sports ground.
Tens of thousands of people will attend the parade through the streets of Southall.
Free food stalls all along the procession route.
The Police advise against driving into Southall due to heavy congestion.
The actual Vaisakhi day will be celebrated on Sunday 14th April 2019. The VAISAKHI MELA 2019 will be held from 12pm - 6.30pm at Norwood Green Park.
