Park Avenue Southall Development

Mon 04 Oct 2021
New development being proposed for Southall with 550 flats on the site next to Park Avenue Gurdwara.

The land is owned by Ealing council and PA housing association. PA Housing are preparing the planning application for a new development that will provide much-needed new housing, including affordable housing, along with other employment-generating uses.

They are holding Q&A consultation events for residents to take part and find out more. The online Q&A events are on Monday 4th October at 7pm and Tuesday 5th October at 1pm.

For more information about the development or to register for the events visit parkavenue.communityuk.live

They will also be hosting two drop in sessions on Wednesday 6 October between 4pm and 7pm and Monday 11 October between 4pm and 7pm at Mehfil Hotel, 45 The Green, Southall UB2 4AR.

There is a severe shortage of housing not only in Southall but nationally. But Southall is where most of the development seems to be taking place. It is over developed and residents need to speak up.

These developments are NOT for the sole benefit of Southall or Ealing residents. Once built, they are available to all, even Chinese, Russian or Saudi investors.

Expect the tallest towers to be around 25 storeys high. They seem to get higher and higher with each development. Do you want one near your property?

Don’t expect any parking space unless you are blue badge holder. Don’t expect annual resident permit either.

Southall is over developed, and residents need to speak up. Please take part and be heard.
