Appeal following fatal collision in Southall

An elderly man, Sham Sunder Ralhan, who was involved in a collision with a car in Southall in December, died in hospital on Wednesday 13 January 2016.

Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a collision in Southall.

Police were called at around 06:25hrs on Saturday, 19 December to Bulls Bridge Industrial Estate, Hayes Road, Southall following reports of a collision between a silver car collided and an elderly man.

Officers, London Ambulance Service and London's’ Air Ambulance all attended and the man was taken to a central London hospital with serious injuries. He has since died in hospital on Wednesday, 13 January 2016 and his next of kin have been informed.

He has been named as, Mr. Sham Sunder Ralhan, aged 75, from Slough, Berkshire.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene but was not arrested.
