Jubilee Park Community Orchard Planting

Date: Sat 10 Mar 2018
Time: 10.30am - 2.30pm
Description:
Preparations are now underway for the implementation of phase 3 of the Southall Orchard Project.

We will be planting up to 60 fruit/nut trees in Jubilee Park.

We are currently looking to recruit a few more people to the Jubilee Park Team which will help to deliver this phase and go on to help care for the new orchard after it has been planted. We are particularly keen to have people join us if they live in close proximity to the park, however this is not mandatory.

If you are interested in joining the team or would like to learn more about what this entails, please contact the Project Lead, Mani Dhanda on 07490 848 876 or email m.dhanda@gmx.com

If you would like to help plant the orchard, you can reserve your place by sending an expression of interest to info@southalltransition.org (this is not compulsory but would be appreciated).

Volunteers are asked to ensure that they wear sturdy foot wear and dress appropriate for the weather. Tools will be provided.

All are welcome to attend
Come for as little or as long as you like.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Free refreshments will be provided.
