Southall Manor House officially re-opened to the public

Ealing Council leader Peter Mason and Ealing Southall MP Virendra Sharma led the ceremony.
Peter Mason tweeted "A fantastic moment this morning reopening Southall Manor House after such a long time of it being out of use."
"Ealing Council working together with Meanwhile Space to get the incredible space open for creative ideas, entrepreneurs and the whole community."
Was it just another PR photo exercise or were any ORDINARY locals invited to the opening ceremony and speeches?
Was this an inclusive or exclusive event?
"I never knew about this event. In fact NO ONE in the business community did apart from the usual suspects I see."
"Great to see Southall Manor House open".
But a lot more locals would have LIKED to have seen it too.
The official opening came less than a week after the first ever Southall Business Expo was held at held at the Grade II Listed Tudor building.
The Business Expo was an Ealing Council inward investment event managed by Contactus Ealing and Let’s Go Southall.
Over 300 people attended the events that had over 30 business exhibitors.
Meanwhile Space work to bring empty places back into use for their communities, and they will be managing the Manor House for the next two years.
