The largest open air interfaith festival in the UK; Its aim is pure and simple; bringing together all communities to live in peace and harmony.

The festival had its debut last year on the 11th June 2011 in Ealing Borough, West London. It was attended by over 8,000 people and was watched online by an astounding 76,000 people from 23 countries around the globe.

The festival was opened by 12 multi-faith leaders; followed by various cultural acts of art, poetry, comedy, music and dance. These acts not only entertained the crowds who joined in, but really promoted the sense of togetherness and the community spirit that uplifts and unites any society.

This event enhanced the union of faiths and cultures and played a major role in Southall not being targeted two months later during the London Riots. The festival was mentioned and also praised by the Prime Minister in the House of Commons at the time of the riots.

At this year's festival, we have a whole array of performers:

• dancers and acts from various cultures and backgrounds

We will also introduce different areas for the public to engage and interact through various zones, following this fesitval we are going to be launching various pilot schemes to support disadvantages youth through projects that will have outcomes and will inevitably help young people into education, training and employment.

We are asking the community to come forward and support the Unity of Faiths Festival. We are also hoping that mainstream organsiation can be onboard to make this a national message, as the Mayor of London has written a letter of support.
