Southall - Love Where You Live community fun day

Come and join the fun!
There’ll be a whole host of activities for kids and the young at heart!
- Make a home for birds
- Learn about plants & plant them
- Learn about what Lives in our ponds
- Making fun jewellery from recycled items
- Learning about cycling
- Football activities
- A ‘mini-Olympics’
- Face-painting
Please bear in mind that as the event will be outdoors and it is still springtime, it is requested that children are dressed appropriately.
The community, parents and their children are very welcome to visit the event at any time between 11.00am and 4.30pm. Wider events which will be available include:
- Recycling at home
- Dr Bike Surgery
- how to take care of your bike and make minor repairs
- Staying active with Mael Gael
- Staying healthy by eating well
- Stating safe with information and advice on how to secure your home
- Music and entertainment
The day will be a series of fun activities which will explore why it’s important to love and take care of Southall. It will include the unveiling of replicas of historic ‘Pala Period’ figurines which used to sit in the park, a mosaic project telling the story of the park, and a presentation of a school’s project looking at how the students of Clifton Primary School love Southall!
