The West London Islamic Centre is pleased to present a special weekend programme, ‘Signs of the Hour’ with Mufti Ismail Menk, Imam Wasim Kempson and Shaykh Muhammad Al-Barak,from Asr to Isha Insha'Allah.

With us all the way from South Africa, Mufti Ismail Menk was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. He completed his Hifz and recitation courses at the age of 12 and learnt the Arabic and Urdu languages whilst being tutored and studying Shariah under his father, Maulana Musa Menk who is a well known scholar and Da’ee.

At the same time he attended an Academic College in Harare where he completed his secondary education and then attained a degree in Shariah from the University of Madinah later specialising in Iftaa at Darul Uloom Kantharia in Gujarat.

Known for his warm and humerous presentations, he has been actively engaged in teaching, lecturing, welfare, relief and dawah activities at both the national and international level. Currently he is a member of the Fatwa Department of The Council of Islamic Scholars of Zimbabwe and an Imaam at Masjid Al Falaah in Harare.
