Southall residents, retailers and businesses are being invited to a meeting to discuss proposals to revitalise Southall.

Ealing Council has announced plans for a £2 million investment, as part of its budget proposals, to improve Southall town centre. Residents will be able to obtain more information about the project and share their ideas.

Consultants Llewellyn Davies Young have developed a plan on how the town should develop to meet the changing needs of local residents. The money is being set aside to carry out some of their recommended work.

Money will also be made available to help shopkeepers improve their stores and window displays.

The budget proposals are due to be discussed and formally agreed at a meeting of the Council on 4 March.
