Tony was propelled back to fame in 2005 after the re-release of Is This the Way to Amarillo featuring Peter Kay for Comic Relief. The single reached no. 1, staying in the charts for seven weeks.
In 2008, Christie recorded the album Made in Sheffield with Richard Hawley and in 2011; Tony celebrated 50 years in the music business.
