Ealing mental health fair

Time: 10am– 4pm
No appointment is necessary and residents are welcome to drop-in throughout the day.
The fair is for anyone with concerns about their mental health or that of a friend or loved one. It’s also for carers who can find out about support services available in Ealing.
There will also be plenty of information and advice available from the NHS and many local community groups. Organisations attending include Healthwatch Ealing, The Samaritans, Mind and West London Mental Health Trust.
Councillor Hitesh Tailor, cabinet member for health and adults’ services said: "One in four of us will be affected by a mental health illness in any year. So this event is a great opportunity to increase awareness of mental health issues, direct people to the wide range of support services available in Ealing and offer advice to those living with mental health issues and their families."
The fair will also be host to numerous interactive sessions and workshops covering mindfulness coaching and other stress-busting techniques.
People caring for someone with mental health issues will also find details of support groups and other services which can help them in their role, along with techniques for self-managing their own stress levels.
Dr Mohini Parmer, Chair of Ealing CCG said: "We are committed to improving the mental health of people living in Ealing. Next week’s fair is an excellent opportunity for local residents to come along and find out more about the wide ranging services there are available to them."
"If you are experiencing mental health problems it is important to know that you are not alone and there is plenty of help out there to improve your mental health and wellbeing."Location:
