The Big Lunch, the biggest picnic event in Ealing this summer, takes place at Walpole Park.

Bring a picnic to Walpole Park and meet your neighbours. The Big Lunch is a very simple idea from the Eden Project.

The aim is to get as many people as possible across the whole of the UK to have lunch with their neighbours annually in June in a simple act of community, friendship and fun.

Picnic behind the house or between the ponds. During the day there will be activities to get involved with as well as chatting to your neighbours.

The exciting programme for the day is as follows:

• Bird Recording Walk: 8.30am-10am
• Tree Walk: 11am-1pm
• Foraging for food: Midday-3pm
• Pond Surveillance 2-3.30pm
