In January Southall Transition joined forces with Ealing Transition and held an Incredible Edible event at the Dominion Centre in Southall where the very inspirational Pam Warhurst held a talk.

Following that event we held talks with some educational establishments and community gardens, some of which have now implemented the scheme or are considering implementing it. The latest of these is Southall Community College who have now agreed to create a raised bed edible garden at the front of the college.

On 7th October we will be partnering with Southall Community College and with the support of the Southall Waterside team (responsible for the regeneration of the former gas works site) we will be helping to plant the new garden. Members of the public are invited to attend and join in. The new garden will be 'opened' by Virendra Sharma MP for Ealing Southall.

Refreshments will be provided.
