In support of the Power Of Youth campaign, MP Virendra Sharma is inviting Sixth Form students of his constituency of Ealing Southall between the ages of 16 - 18 years to the Youth Summit on Thursday 23 July 2020.

We know that young people are set to be hugely disadvantaged by Coronavirus for decades to come. But so far, none of the Government’s support packages have focused on the specific issues young people are facing. It is time for the Government to listen to the concerns of young people struggling in the face of this crisis. He look forward to speaking with students directly and to listen to their concerns.

Young people have been ignored by the Government since long before the Coronavirus crisis. They can no longer be a forgotten voice, an after-thought, in a pandemic set on disrupting their lives for years to come.

He looks forward to speaking to the young people of his constituency on their questions about how Government plans to address the challenges – and they deserve to have them answered.
