Please join the Community Clean Up taking place at the Western Road Urban Garden site on Saturday 11th June 2022.

Southall Transition are working with Southall Community Alliance to clean up a formerly derelict site in Southall Green. The site was over grown and disused for many years.

Thanks to funding from the Mayor of London, the site has finally been cleared of scrub and we can now proceed with the creation of an Urban Garden that will have allotment space, food growing polytunnel, recreational space, fruit orchard etc.

The overall aim is bring this large unused area of land back into use for communities living in that area, to look after and enjoy in future years.

But, in order to do this we need your help to clean up some of the waste and rubbish currently on site.

Southall Transition are also working with Ealing Council, A Rocha and Feeding Ealing to deliver this project.
