Reopening of the link between Merrick Road and Park Avenue, in Southall.
The new bridge will link Merrick Road to Park Avenue, and allow residents an alternate route across the railway. It will replace the original bridge demolished in 2017.
The new more secure foot and cycle bridge includes the installation of cycle rails on the steps to make it easier to wheel bikes up and down the stairs. New lighting and CCTV coverage will also make the route safer for people using the bridge.
