Join forces with Southall Community Alliance and their partners to help establish the Western Road Urban Garden and enhance the local environment.

The Western Road Urban Garden has made significant progress since the commencement of work to rejuvenate this once-derelict allotment area, even though the project is not yet finished.

Starting in 2022, Southall Community Alliance have collaborated with Southall Transition, Ealing Parks Foundation, Ealing Council, LAGER Can, Heathrow Community Trust and Feeding Ealing to revive the site for the greater good of the community.

You're welcome to visit this weekend when the Western Rd Urban Garden (WRUG) will be open to the public. You can also participate in the community clean-up led by LAGER Can or engage in other gardening activities with GoodGym.

Help us clean up a large area of land that has been overgrown for many years. It's a great opportunity to get involved and contribute to the community effort.

There will be activities for children. All are welcome.

Given the current warm weather conditions, which are expected to persist over the weekend, we will provide cooling drinks and snacks for everyone.

Additionally, we'll ensure there are shaded areas for people to sit and prevent overexposure to the heat. Your comfort and well-being are our priority.
