Health and Inequalities Roadshow: Southall

Time: 10 am - 2 pm
This roadshow serves as a platform to offer assistance to Southall residents in areas such as health, inequality, and the cost of living.
Ealing & Hounslow CVS will be hosting a series of health and inequalities roadshows across the Ealing borough.
The health roadshows aim to link marginalized and minoritized communities with valuable and practical health information. Their goal is to raise awareness about significant health issues, including hypertension, anxiety, diabetes, obesity, depression, and more.
The Roadshows will also center on addressing inequality and the cost-of-living crisis, offering information and guidance tailored for local communities.
Participants will include Primary Care Networks, community pharmacists offering health advice and checks, representatives from the NHS, local/national charities, Ealing Council, and a variety of stalls and presentations delivering resident communication, information, and resources tailored to individual needs.
Attendees will have the chance to access health checks, community services, and engage with health researchers. Trained Community Research Champions (CRCs) will also be available to assist in facilitating discussions between community members and researchers.
We look forward to seeing you at the roadshows.
Please note health checks will be subject to the availability of clinical professionals on the day.
If you want to participate, please register on Eventbrite.
