Looking forward to seeing many of you there.
There will be road closures and parking suspensions along the main route. King Street, The Green and South Road will be be closed for most of the day. No traffic will be allowed from the side roads.
The nagar kirtan will start at around 12 noon from the Guru Nank Road Gurdwara and move very slowly along the designated route.
When the procession turn into High street around 4pm, traffic from Southall Broadway, Lady Margaret road and Uxbridge road will also be blocked for at least an hour.
The Police advise against driving into Southall due to road closures and heavy congestion.
Ealing Police said: "Road closures will take place from 9am in Old Southall and roads will continue to close as the procession moves along the route. Roads may close sooner due to food stalls setting up along the route and increase in pedestrians moving into the road."
The actual Vaisakhi day will be celebrated on Saturday 13th April 2024.
