Cha in the City Southall: Open Space for Punjabi Men

Time: 6:30 pm - 8 pm
This group is a part of the Cha in the City movement, supporting inclusive conversations around challenging subjects amongst Punjabi men.
Taraki and House of AIEOU have come together to support Punjabi men in Southall, recognizing that meaningful conversation and connection are vital for promoting health and wellbeing. They are excited to launch monthly open spaces in Southall, providing Punjabi men with a platform to explore and discuss topics that are often overlooked.
This is an inclusive space for:
- People of all faith backgrounds (Sikh, Muslim, Hindu, Christian) and those with
- no religious affiliation
- Punjabi cis- and trans-men
- Non-binary individuals comfortable in a space centred on Punjabi men.
The open group provides a safe and welcoming environment to explore often unspoken topics, encouraging participants to listen, learn, and share their experiences. Whether you choose to contribute actively or simply listen and connect, you are warmly invited to join.
Each month we will focus on a particular topic of importance and relevance.
In this session, we will be doing a Meet & Greet so that you can get to know the team. We will also will consider the following questions:
- What do we hope to see from such spaces for Punjabi men?
- How do we want to create safe inclusive spaces for Punjabi men in Southall?
Thoughts can be shared, questions asked, or you can simply listen – there is no obligation to share your experiences, should you choose not to.
