Atmospheric drama of family secrets and reconciliation.
A country parson's family gather to celebrate Christmas 1947, but they are completely unprepared for the revelations and conflicts which emerge with the arrival of his daughter.
The play was first performed in London to great success in 1950, and was subsequently made into an equally successful film with Ralph Richardson, Celia Johnson and Margaret Leighton playing the lead roles.
The rollercoaster drama packs an emotional punch.
