The actual Milad un Nabi day occured on Tuesday 15th February. A celebration/zikr took place at the mosque from 4.30am to 5.30 am, around the time the prophet Mohammed (pbuh) was born.
Islamic Event - Urdu - The 25th annual procession/programme celebrating the birthday of the prophet Mohammed (pbuh) in Southall.
The procession will start from the Jamia mosque in Townsend Road after the Zohr prayers. It will proceed along the Broadway, South Road, Beaconfield Road and return to the Jamia mosque in Townend Road.
This will be followed by a colourful and spiritual programme to celebrate the Holy Prophet's arrival in this world.
