For the second year Trafalgar Square will mark the Muslim Festival of Eid-ul-Fitr. This marks the end of the month of Ramadan, during which Muslims fast from dawn to sunset.
For the second year Trafalgar Square will mark the Muslim Festival of Eid-ul-Fitr. This marks the end of the month of Ramadan, during which Muslims fast from dawn to sunset.
The Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations are an exciting time intended to bring diverse communities, families and friends together.
Visitors to the square will be able to see live acts and entertainment and enjoy various stalls and exhibitions on display. There will also be a children’s play area and of course a prayer marquee for adults.

- Poetic Pilgrimage – Muneera Rashida and Sukina Abdul Noor
- Prince Abdi - a talented young comic from South London

Eid in the Square is organised by the Muslim Council of Britain and the Mayor of London, in association with Islamic Relief.
