The organisers of the annual Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan, that takes places in April, have decided to postpone the event until further notice. They issued the following statement:

On Saturday the 7th of March 2020, Executive Committee Members of Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall held a joint meeting with Gurdwaras and Sevadars from across West London.

The safety, security and wellbeing Of the Sangat is our first priority. Sevadars discussed the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the potential measures the Government intends to bring forward, such as restrictions on large gatherings.

In light of this unprecedented situation, we regret to announce that the Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan that was scheduled to be held on the 5th of April has been postponed until further notice.
