Jobs fair coming to Ealing

Southall residents are invited to a jobs fair in Ealing next week, as part of a continued project to support people to search for new employment opportunities.

The event is organised by Ealing Council’s Work Ealing and supported by British Land takes place on Wednesday 16 March 2022. It will take place from 10am to 2pm on the 4th floor of Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre, 7 High Street, London, W5 5DB.

Residents will have the opportunity to meet local employers face to face and find out about vacancies and training opportunities in a variety of sectors. Some of the employers present will be British Land, Make It Ealing, The Forge@ParkRoyal, High Speed Two (HS2), Metropolitan Police, Brompton Bikes, Shaw Trust, West London College and Hawk Training.

Although the event is free to attend, people are encouraged to sign up in advance at workealing.com.

Job seekers will the opportunity to attend one of the free seminars that will help them understand what types of skills and attributes employers expect, how to build an attractive CV and get help in preparing for job interviews.

Ealing Council’s apprenticeship team will provide career advice and will be on hand to talk about the growth sectors and industries in Ealing and how candidates can apply and secure an apprenticeship.

Attendees will be able to get help with building their confidence when it comes to looking or keeping a job.

Spaces for each seminar are limited, so attendees are encouraged to reserve their place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. To find out more visit workealing.com.
