Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information after an aggravated burglary in Southall

Police officers were called to reports of an aggravated burglary on Clarence Street, Southall on Saturday 12 March 2022 at 7:29pm.

Two males knocked on the door of the address and pushed their way into the property. The victim, a man in his 70’s was assaulted and tied up inside his home.

The suspects, both described as black males, fled the scene with a quantity of cash.

Sergeant Karen Thomas of the West Area Burglary and Robbery Team said "This was a terrifying incident. We urge anyone who may have witnessed the suspects arriving or leaving the scene."

"If you know who is responsible then I would urge you to come forward. We would also welcome any CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist with our investigation."
