Thu 20 Apr 2023
All of Southall will be celebrating Eid-al-Fitr on Friday 21st April 2023. This is due to the announcement by Arabia and not due to any credible moon sighting.

The mosques will be overflowing with worshippers in the morning, with 5 to 6 services at each mosque starting as early as 6:15 am.

Southall and Southall Broadway is well known for very bad traffic congestion. On Friday evening and night Southall Broadway will be closed to all traffic. But the festivities and issues will start on Thursday evening. Find alternatives routes of travel.
