Coronation celebrations taking place on Monday

Coronation celebrations are taking place on Monday at various street parties in Southall.

On Friday 5th May 2023, the Leader of the Council, Cllr Peter Mason, raised the Coronation flag at Southall Town Hall.

Southall Community Alliance, arranged a Coronation Tea and Cake Party at Southall Town Hall on Friday 5th May 2023. Thankfully, the weather remained pleasant for most of the day, allowing them to have face painting and mehndi outdoors and cake and tea inside.

Virendra Sharma, the MP for Ealing Southall, cut the Coronation Cake. Councillor Aysha Raza was present and Dee Martin added to the vibrancy of the event by creating a beautiful piece of artwork.

Community Celebrations at the Green Quarter

The Green Quarter Team (Berkeley Group) held a celebration event to mark the King's Coronation on Saturday 6th May 2023.

The community event featured games, live music, entertainment, and prizes for the lucky winners of a free draw.

Mayor of Ealing, Councillor, Cllr Mohinder Kaur Midha, and Lord Tony Young of Norwood Green (Member of the House of Lords) were picked some of the winners.

Norwood Green Residents Association

Norwood Green Residents Association have organised a Coronation Party on the Green of Norwood Green on Sunday 7th May 2023, Everyone was welcome and complimentary tea, coffee and drink was provided.

The leader of the Council, Cllr Peter Mason, Mayor of Ealing, Councillor, Cllr Mohinder Kaur Midha and Lord Tony Young of Norwood Green were present.

  • 11am – 7pm Raynor Close, Southall, Whole road
