Even the hot weather didn't discourage our dedicated friends from Good Gym and LAGER Can, as well as numerous resident volunteers, who joined us in tackling the demanding tasks.
Colleagues from the Heston Action Group paid them a visit, and together, they explored opportunities for sharing knowledge and resources.
The Western Road Urban Garden stands as a visible symbol of the collaboration between the community and Ealing Council. The volunteers were delighted when Councillor Jasbir Anand visited to witness the commendable work happening here.
The Southall Community Alliance extend their heartfelt gratitude to Cathy Swift, Kash Ziolkowska, Ravi Jain, Jaswant Bhasin, and their dedicated core team members: Ashok Chumber, Paul Carter, and Mani Dhanda.
Their future plans include organizing similar events, and they aim to collaborate with local schools to raise environmental awareness among Southall's students.
