Natalie Shotter: Man charged with rape and manslaughter
Thu 18 Jan 2024On 17 July 2021, Natalie Shotter was found dead in Southall Park after spending an evening with friends.
Police were called at around 6am on Saturday, 17 July 2021 to Southall Park in Green Drive to reports of an unresponsive woman.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended but the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives investigating the unexplained death appealed for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward, while additional inquiries were conducted.
A post-mortem examination on Sunday, 18 July 2021 was unable to established cause of death.
Mohamed Lidow, 34, of no fixed address was apprehended in connection with the incident on 4 August 2021..
He was charged with the rape and manslaughter on 21 December 2021 and appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Friday, 12 January 2024.
Natalie, a 37-year-old mother of three had two teenage sons and an 18-month-old daughter at the time of death.
