Boy dies after being hit by lorry in Southall

An eight-year-old boy was hospitalized after being involved in a collision with a lorry in King Street, Southall.
Police were called at 18:20 hrs yesterday evening (Friday 23 February 2024) to reports of the collision in King Street.
initial treatment was provided at the scene by paramedics and the air ambulance team, before promptly transporting the child to the hospital

The boy was pronounced dead at 9.47pm on Friday, despite the efforts of doctors and nurses.
Family members were notified. The lorry stopped at the scene, and no arrests were made.
