The 8-year-old was a student at Featherstone Primary School.

After numerous kind offers of help from the whole community, Des Lee the Headteacher at Featherstone Primary & Nursery School set up a GoFundMe page in memory of Gurniwaz to raise £10,000.

Most of the funds collected will go directly to his family, offering essential support for funeral arrangements and other expenses during this profoundly difficult time.

A portion of your generous donations will be allocated towards establishing a lasting memorial within the school premises, ensuring that Gurniwaz is remembered and honoured.
