"Defiance: Fighting the Far Right" airs on Channel 4

Mon 01 Apr 2024
An upcoming three-part Channel 4 series will explore the resilience of Britain's Asian community as they confronted a campaign of violence and murder perpetrated by the far-right.

Over the course of three hours, 'Defiance: Fighting the Far Right' examines events from the Southall protests, the tragic death of Blair Peach, the Battle for Brick Lane, and the remarkable story of the Bradford 12.

These events were usually ignored by the press, the Police, and the government.

Suresh Grover of the Monitoring Group said "This is our history. We want everyone who needs to see it to see it, and to be part of the conversation. We hope it sparks. Please put a reminder in your diaries. And please share this."
