Man in his 30s found dead in Norwood Green

Police were called to Tentelow Lane at 8:25 am on Friday, 17 January 2015, following reports of an unresponsive man. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade, attended the scene, but the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The area near Khalsa Primary School was cordoned off for much of the day as officers conducted their investigation.
Witnesses described the distressing sight. One local said, "I saw him hanging from the tree while dropping my daughter at school. It was so heartbreaking." Another reported seeing emergency services arriving at around 8:50 am.
Efforts are ongoing to trace the man’s family, and police have not yet confirmed the circumstances surrounding his death.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated: “Enquiries continue to inform his next-of-kin. A post-mortem examination will be held in due course. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
