People have until the end of the month to join an Ealing Council library and be in with a chance to win a much sought after Nintendo Wii games console before Christmas.

All new library members who borrow a book or any other item during November will be automatically included in the draw to win this must-have gaming experience. Existing members who have not borrowed an item since the end of March and resume their membership this month will also be entered into the draw.

Councillor Nigel Sumner, Cabinet Member for Health and Community Well Being, said: “We have been working hard to improve our libraries and make them more appealing to users. This competition is a great incentive to visit them, see some of the improvements first hand and find out more about what our libraries have to offer.”

Youngsters under 12 who borrow an item from the library will also receive a free small toy throughout November.

The competition winner will be notified by 15 December 2007.
