Victim of Southall stabbing named as Gurbhej Singh, 26

Emergency services were called shortly after 00:40 on Wednesday, 10 June, after reports of a violent incident on North Road, close to the junction with Dormers Wells Lane. Police and paramedics attended the scene, where two men were found injured.
Despite efforts from medical teams, Mr Singh was pronounced dead at the location after sustaining a fatal knife injury. His family are receiving support from specialist officers.
A second man, aged in his 30s, was also treated following the incident. He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.
Seven men, aged between their early 20s and late 30s, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. Following initial enquiries, six have been released with no further action, while one individual remains on bail pending further investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell of the Metropolitan Police said detectives are continuing to piece together the circumstances of the attack and are particularly interested in any witnesses or footage from the area.
Police believe the assault happened outside a shop near the junction of North Road and Dormers Wells Lane at around 00:30.
Officers are urging anyone with information, CCTV, or dashcam footage to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 215/10JUN26, or to provide information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
