Amir Khan the boxer visited Chaudhry’s TKC on Southall Broadway, last Friday, on his way to the Pakistani Achievements Award reception in London.

He was invited there by friend Dalawar Chaudhry and spent some time chatting with the young people at the restaurant.

Mr Chaudhry said: "Amir is the ideal role model" and has a positive impact on the youth and the wider community.

Afterwards they both went to the Pakistani Achievements Awards at the Ibis hotel in Earl Court, London and shared the same table.

Amir Khan was the winner of the Sports personality of the Year award.

Dalawar Chaudhry collected 2 awards, one for his charity and community work and the other on behalf of his deceased father, a lifetime work award.

Amir Khan is currently in Los Angeles training for his next fight against Mexican legend Marco Antonio Barrera, seven-times world champion at 3 different weights, on 14 March.
