The Southall community was mobilised to see their "role model" Amir Khan fight Andreas Kotelnik and become the new WBA light-welterweight chamion.

This was the second event to take place at Chaudhry’s TKC, where large screens were provided for fans to watch the fight as it happened.

Being a community event it was free for everyone, customers who were dining at the restaurant and those who just wanted to see the fight.

Everyone there had come to support Amir Khan, a British and Muslim role model.

Traditional Indian drums were beating in the Southall restaurant to the delight of all those present.

Everyone present, irrespective of age or sex, was vocally supporting Amir Khan. They were once again impressed with his speed and array of punches. The restaurant staff was just as vocal as the other fans.

Southall will be looking forward to more visits from Amir.
