Southall Summer Festival 2010
Sun 18 Jul 2010The festival was to celebrate the finish of the 21th annual SACA's Charity Bike Ride (from Birmingham to London), which took take place on the 17th and 18th of July 2010.
This years’ benefiting charity was Wellchild UK, which helps sick children and their families throughout the UK to manage the consequences of serious illness and complex health conditions through a programme of care, support and research.
Over the years SACA has raised over £220,000 for childrens charities.
The bike rider finished their ride and were parading on Southall Broadway at 3 pm. They reached Southall Park before 4 pm.
After the opening speech, all 150 of the biker who took part were awarded with a medal in recognition of their 130 mile ride.
This was followed by e celebration that started at 4.30 pm and finished after 7 pm.
Entry to the festival was free and open to the general public.

- Live Band – Premi – "Oh Tina Oh Tina"
- XLNC Harbhajan Talwar – Voted Best UK Bhangra Band
