Cyclist killed in Southall crash
Thu 12 Jul 2012Police are appealing for information after a cyclist was hit by a truck and killed.
Last Thursday, cyclist Tarsem Dari, 60, died after colliding with a tipper lorry on Southall Broadway.
The accident occurred at the junction of Saxon Road and Southall Broadway just after 2 pm. It was attended by the Police and the London Ambulance Service. Mr Dari was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 34-year-old driver of the lorry, who stopped at the scene, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He was released on bail and must return to the Police station in November.
A post-mortem examination took place on 6 July at Uxbridge Mortuary.
