Ealing Council’s Health and Adult Social Services Scrutiny Panel is currently seeking views on diabetes care in the borough, with the aim of developing recommendations for improvement and change to put to service providers and commissioners.

They are asking any residents who have experience of using diabetes services in Ealing to feed their views to the Panel, by sending an email to scrutiny@ealing.gov.uk

In particular, the Panel would like to know:

• What most needs improvement in diabetes care in Ealing?
• Do you have a care plan, and do you feel supported enough in managing your condition?
• What additional support would you like to receive, if any?

Your views will be used to inform the Panel’s subsequent questions for commissioners, NHS staff and the Council, and will be the key to developing successful recommendations.

In order to present your views to the next meeting of the Panel, it would be helpful if residents could submit views by noon on 23 November, but submissions received after this point will of course also be accepted.
