A man in his 50s, was stabbed to death shortly after 1 pm on Tuesday on West End Road, Southall.

A woman, believed to be his wife, was seen screaming for help. The man was rushed to Ealing Hospital, but died shortly after arrival. The police beleive that "the victim was involved in a confrontation with a male suspect" and cordoned off West End Road and the adjacent Townsend Road. This was later reduced to just the middle of West End Road, so that the forensic team could search for any evidence..

Police are treating the death as a murder and are appealing for witnesses and information.
