Celebrate Black History Month in Ealing

Residents are being invited to attend a month of talks and activities being held in libraries across the borough to celebrate Black History Month this October 2015.

These activities will highlight the contributions that people of African and Caribbean heritage have made to the arts, literature, sports and politics locally and around the world.

Younger residents will also be able to take part in activities held in libraries across the borough including a story-telling session by Michael De Souza, author of BBC’s Rastamouse, mask making workshops and music sessions.

Black History Month events include:

African Drumming Workshop
Description: Join in with Bantu Arts and learn some basic drumming techniques

Date: Thursday, 29 October
Time: 2 – 4pm
Age: Families
