Traffic Congestion on Sunday
Fri 18 Dec 2015Traffic congestion is to be expected on Sunday afternoon due to the 30th annual procession celebrating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Southall.
The traffic congestion is expected to last around 2 hours, starting at 1:30pm.
The procession will start from the Jamia mosque in Townsend Road at 1:30pm. It will proceed along The Broadway and turn right into South South. It will then turn right into Beaconfield Road and return to Townsend Road.
Only a short programme will be held outside the mosque due to prayer/salah times and it is not possible to accommodate all the people inside the mosque.
