At approximately 3.07 pm, a female motorcyclist was involved in a collision with a white transit van, within yards of Southall Railway station, travelling towards old Southall.

The female motorcyclist was conscious when 2 police officers arrived within minutes, but remained motionless in the middle of the road.

The ambulance arrived at 3.16, after attending to her immediate needs, took her to hospital in a stretcher at 3.27. Traffic was only delayed for a short while.
