An 85-year-old woman died following a road traffic collision in Southall.

An 85-year-old woman had been in collision with a lorry on The Broadway, Southall at the junction with Herbert Road.

Police were called at 11:05. Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene.

Medical staff pronounced the elderly woman dead at 11:33am.

Next of kin have been informed.

Local Road closures were in place while emergency services deal with the incident.

The lorry stopped at the scene, no arrests.
